The Top

So I ended up going hiking in upstate New York. It was a pretty cool time, ran into some mountain lions and snakes. After some time hiking, we actually made it to the zenith of the mountain -- the very pinnacle, which was over 1.5k feet up. Heres the view from the top:

It really was a great experience. Going again next week, hopefully i'll have some new pics of that as well

  3. I heard they had some flooding in upstate NY. Then again "upstate" is everything north and west of Manhattan, isn't it?

  10. This really brings me back to my days hiking in Texas. Enchanted rock national park had a really sick incline to go up either hiking or legit rock climbing, then at the top there was an entrance to caves that went well down into the roots 2 thousand feet below.

  26. There's no feeling cooler to me than looking for the highest spot around, and climbing to the top of it. Freaked wife out here in AZ when I climbed a tall one in the summer, but I just had to do it. And the feeling once on the top...
