So I ended up going hiking in upstate New York. It was a pretty cool time, ran into some mountain lions and snakes. After some time hiking, we actually made it to the zenith of the mountain -- the very pinnacle, which was over 1.5k feet up. Heres the view from the top:
It really was a great experience. Going again next week, hopefully i'll have some new pics of that as well
nice, im actually going camping this weekend. i would love to climb a mountain, but i live in the plains part of texas so i wont get a chance anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteurgg i hate hiking, except when i get to the top of mountains
ReplyDeleteI heard they had some flooding in upstate NY. Then again "upstate" is everything north and west of Manhattan, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome, I love hiking.
ReplyDeletedid you mean to focus on the branch? lol
ReplyDeletewish i had the energy to do that...
ReplyDeletebeautiful... i love hiking, it truly makes u feel alive

ReplyDeleteThis really brings me back to my days hiking in Texas. Enchanted rock national park had a really sick incline to go up either hiking or legit rock climbing, then at the top there was an entrance to caves that went well down into the roots 2 thousand feet below.
ReplyDeleteNice, have you ever gone geocaching? There are some really good hikes that end on nice finds!
